Kenneth Cuno

Historian Kenneth Cuno is considered one of the most prominent American historians at the present time, interested in the history of the Middle East in general, and Egyptian history in particular. “Kono” works as a professor of Middle Eastern history at the American University of Illinois, and has published a number of books, some of which have been translated into Arabic, including: “Racial Origins and Slavery in the Middle East,” and “The Peasants of the Pasha... Land, Society, and Economy in Lower Egypt, 1740-1858.” . Recently, the Arabic translation of his book “Marriage and Modernity” was published.
