Ignaz Goldziher or Ignaz Goldziher or Ignaz Goldziher or Ignaz Goldziher (1266 - 1340 AH / 1850 - 1921 AD) is a Hungarian Jewish orientalist known for his criticism of Islam and the seriousness of his writings, and one of the editors of Circle of Islamic Encyclopedias . He was famous for his prolific production on Islam to the point that he was considered one of the most important Orientalists due to his many contributions and investigations on Islam and its men, perhaps influenced in all of this by his Judaism . He is the most prominent person who made a broad and comprehensive attempt to undermine the Prophet’s biography.
