Bianca Nogrady is an Australian freelance science journalist and author, who is yet to meet a piece of research she doesn't find fascinating. In more than a decade of freelance reporting, her work has appeared in outlets including Nature, The Atlantic, Wired UK, The Guardian, Undark, MIT Technology Review, the BMJ, Australian Geographic, Scientific American, the ABC, and BBC.
She is the author of Climate Change: How We Can Get To Carbon Zero; The End: The Human Experience Of Death; editor of the 2019 and 2015 Best Australian Science Writing anthologies; and co-author of The Sixth Wave: How To Succeed In A Resource-Limited World. She is represented by Kurestin Armada of Root Literary Agency.
Bianca is also an experienced public speaker, broadcaster, and panel chair, and founding president of the Science Journalists Association of Australia.
