طاهرة مافي (10 نوفمبر 1988) كاتبة إيرانية مقيمة في سانتا مونيكا، كاليفورنيا. وهي معروفة بكتابة روايات الشباب البالغين.
ولدت مافي في 9 نوفمبر 1988 في بلدة صغيرة في ولاية كونيتيكت. وهي أصغر أبناء عائلتها ولها أربعة إخوة أكبر منها. والدا مافي مهاجرون من إيران. في سن الثانية عشرة انتقلت مع عائلتها إلى شمال كاليفورنيا وفي سن الرابعة عشرة انتقلوا إلى مقاطعة أورانج.
تخرجت مافي من المدرسة الثانوية الجامعية في إيرفين، كاليفورنيا. تخرجت لاحقًا من جامعة سوكا الأمريكية في أليسو فيجو، كاليفورنيا. لديها مستويات متفاوتة من الكفاءة في ثماني لغات مختلفة. درست في الخارج في برشلونة بإسبانيا لمدة فصل دراسي في الكلية. خلال هذه الرحلة أتيحت لها الفرصة للانغماس الكامل في اللغة الإسبانية.
