earn money بقلم فرج الظفيري ... Introduction Making money is not easy, as spending money. Money doesn’t grow on trees in your plot. Nor does it pop out of that cash machine whenever you key in that secret number. As the saying goes - 'One has to earn money by the sweat of one’s brows.' Grown up people start to work as soon as they finish their studies. Earning money through fair means is necessary to meet one’s needs. Everything has a price and one has to pay for goods and services they need. Only those who have inherited a lot of wealth need not necessarily work to earn for their daily needs. Most of the people need money for food, medicine, clothing, accommodation and even for setting apart for some emergency. They also need money when they can’t work due to old age or incapacity. In short, we have to work hard to earn money. So, spend money wisely and save a part of it. AFTER READING THIS BOOK, CHILDREN SHOULD KNOW THAT: • Coins and notes are used to pay for goods and services. •Sharing with others is a joyful act. • It is not fun to spend money endlessly. • We cannot buy things just for joy.
